    Hi Simon,

Ask your family dr for a referral to the Tourette Clinic at Toronto Western Hospital. The docs are very informed there.
    Hope this helps, Dory

If you are concerned about costs you may also want to contact Community Mental Health and they can refer you to someone that can help.
In our case we went to Hamilton and the entire service is covered by OHIP unlike other locations.

I have been seeing a doctor at the etobicoke medical centre (427 and burnamthorpe) for about 7 yrs. I see him approx. twice a year. He is very good and sees about 1000 ts patients. if u would like his name, i can give it to u. i am pretty sure it is covered by OHIP seeing as i've never seen my parents write a cheque to him.

I was diagnosed last year at the Tourette Clinic at Western General, and I know it is covered by OHIP. I don't know how old you are, though. I needed to ask a very important question and called to make an appointment a couple of days ago, and they said they don't follow up with adult patients, only kids up to 18 (but the doctor will see me anyway this once).

Since I don't take any meds (even though I have about 45 tics right now, none are severe enough to interfere with my life to a significant degree), I don't really need a TS doctor for the most part. So, I had never found myself one.
