I just tried the link and it worked.

Give it another try -- it may have been a problem at their end.

    Scott,

Like Cathy, I tried it tonight and the link is OK.. but thanks for letting us know there may have been a problem with the link, becasue sometimes they do go dead.

A follow up to the story could be to visit the web site of Dr. McKinlay himself!

I tried the first link and couldn't get through but I have met Duncan twice before. The first time was about 7 or 8 years ago in edmonton, that was just one year after I was diagnosed, I met him again last year again in edmonton when he was doing an all day professional development inservice. while his site is good. it is nothing compared to meeting him face to face. His presentations are a real asset to raising awareness for TS, ADHD, OCD, etc. because he knows first-hand what he is talking about.

Since we are talking about Duncan, I have to relate this story to those who missed the Montreal 2005 conference.

I got the honor of MC'ing (hosting) the banquet, where Rick Fowler and others got to play music. Awesome show! Well, Duncan and the kids from the Kids (Youth?) Program got to open the show with a little air guitar band - it was great! Photos developed yet? Searching for a way to introduce Duncan, the following just "ticced" into my brain and popped out of my mouth:

"They say you should not share the stage with children, animals, or Touretters. And Dr. Duncan is all three!"

Yes, there was a LOT of laughter from the crowd. Duncan is a high-energy character, and a showman. I got a laugh from him on that, too. He took it well. Ha ha.
