    Default Haloperidol

Haloperidol (ha-loe-PER-i-dole) is used to control the symptoms of Tourette's syndrome. A child who recently started on this medication just recently complained of feeling restlessness, he couldn't get to sleep and also he is waking up really early in the morning.....is that common?

    Insomnia, restlessness, anxiety, euphoria, agitation,
These are some of the side effects listed on http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic/haloper_ad.htm

but it doesn't mention the dosages.

    Default Haloperidol

Haldol haloperidol was one of th earliest medications used for controlling Tourette related tics. Many people found the side effects to be more debilitating than the disorder.

Here is information claimed to be based on the Canadian product monograph, but it is not the site of the manufacturer. This site appears to be fairly reliable, however.

Another source is Medicine Net HERE

It would seem there should be legitimate concern about side effects and drug interactions with Haldol.
