    Default Trek for Tourette 2012

We’re getting ready to wear our greenest duds and join with the TS community to Trek For Tourette. Are you ready to Trek, too?

The Foundation’s programs and services are made possible through the donations of supporters like you, and the Trek is our only national fundraiser and number one source of financial support. Our goal is to make this year’s Trek the biggest ever in the history of TS in Canada, and we ask you to commit to raising pledges in order to make that goal a reality.

Join others across the country in trekking on Sunday, March 25th, 2012. Check www.tourette.ca to see if there is a community trek happening near you, or have an informal one of your own with friends and family! There are friendly rivalries, great prizes and lots more fun in store. Don't miss out this year!

Register, Log in or Pledge to a registered trekker now!

Two weeks left for the Trek for Tourette 2012.
We have more participants signed up than ever before signed up for our record 18 locations across Canada.

Thank you to our Trek Coordinators in Saskatoon for their amazing interview on the Trek and Tourette Syndrome on Shaw TV.
You can watch it on YouTube here.

And a big shout-out to our Bracebridge Trek, and their "Being Green" video.
You can watch it on Vimeo here.

Here at the National Office, we've been shipping out toques and scarves to all our Trek locations.
This year, the hats, scarves and gloves are made of polar fleece, and they are gorgeous.
Make sure you register on-line so you qualify for these prizes!

Sunday, March 25 is the 2012 Trek for Tourette!
As you may know, we Trek at time of year when the weather is as unpredictable as Tourette itself. And since we're such a tough, resilient community, we Trek shoulder to shoulder no matter what the weather, be it snow, rain or sunshine.
You are one of hundreds of caring people across Canada who have registered so far to Trek this Sunday, March 25th in the biggest TS-related event in Canada's history. People continue to register every few minutes. As a trekker, you might be wondering what the weather conditions are expected to be like where you are, or where others are. So without further ado, here is the forecast for all 18 community Treks in all 10 of our beautiful provinces (a Trek for Tourette first!):

You'll note that there is no snow expected this year - another Trek first - but you never can tell what the day will bring. Just dress in green if you can, and bring a smile!

If you're trekking alone, we salute you. We know that you will Trek in the spirit of the event.

If you're planning on bringing pledges (cash or cheques) to a community Trek, please first enter the manual pledges online, or at least write them down on a Pledge Form, which you can download and print here. That will make it a lot easier for the volunteer organizers at the Trek.

    Happy Trekking!
And a big thank you to all our local Trek Coordinators for their time and effort to make the event possible.
